NanJing, a state-list famous historical and culture city in China

Nanjing has a history of more than 7000 years of civilisation and founded approximately 2600 years. Nanjing is known as the capital of six dynasties and ten regimes and is one of Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been the political, economic and cultural centres of Southern China for a long time.

Confucius Temple 









It was originally built in 1034 during the Song Dynasty and was rebuild in 1986. As a solemn place to enshrine and worship Confucius, who was a giant in ancient China as an educator, an ideologist and a founder of confucian school. 


Jiangnan Gongyuan

It situates on the east side of Confucius Temple and was a biggest examination room. Nearly more than a half of government officials were chosen by the imperial examination during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. 



Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum

Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, where both the First Emperor of Ming Dynasty, Ming Taizu, YuanZhang Zhu and the Empress were buried there. This Mausoleum originally commenced to build in 1381and was finished in 1405. It has more than 170 hectares and hence, is one of the biggest imperial mausoleums, which, on average, takes tourists two hours to walk around.

Xuanwu Lake is a famous scenic spot and located in the Xuanwu District, which was the royal garden for the six dynasties and now is the largest royal garden in China and the largest park in the city of Jiangnan region. 



The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum


The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is founded for Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who was a respectable foregoer of democratic revolution in modern China.  This Mausoleum situates in the Purple Mountain in the Xuanwu District and has 8 hectare. The whole Mausoleum was build along the hills and was gradually raising along the central axis from the south to north.
