National Stadium (Bird's Nest)
This remarkable architecture locates in Olympic Green Village and was the main stadium for Olympics in 2008. It took 21 hectares to build. In addition, there is around 91,000 auditorium inside the building. Since the Olympics ended, Bird's Nest becomes the professional location for Beijing citizens to participate in various sporting and entertaining activities. Hence, Beijing National Stadium is a magnificent landmark as sports architecture and Olympic legacy.
National Aquatics Center (Water Cube)
The designing scheme came from one in the global designing contests that called ([H2O]^3). Water Cube and Bird's Nest separately locate on the north side of The Central Axis of Beijing, which relatively form a historical and cultural image of this city. This aquatics centre has length and width of 177 meters, and the height of 30 meters. It owns 17,000 sites, including 11000 temporary seats provided in 2008 Olympic events. It situated in the Olympic Green and was the main Olympics swimming facility. It was also one of the significant Olympics architecture in 2008.
798 ArtDist
It also called DAD- Dashanzi Art District, where previously the state 789 factory was built here. Nowadays, 798 takes 60 hectares and has attracted extensive attention from domestic and international media and becomes a new landmark for Beijing urban culture. It is not only a geography zone, but also a fashionable and cultural notion for living and working style.
Sanlitun (Bar Street)
Sanlitun situates in the midwest of Beijing Chaoyang District, which previously was famous as keeping a three-mile distances from the Beijing City but now for its bar street. Sanlitun Bar is an obvious signal for Beijing night life and the the headstream for fashion.
Taikoo li Sanlitun
It an opened shopping area and is composed of 19 low-density and contemporary buildings. The whole item consists of two independent zones, south and north area. Taikoo Li Sanlitun itself takes human as the crucial element. Tourists could create art or lead different styles of fashion while spending their leisure time and gaining unique experiences in the entertaining district.
