1.Jiufen Old Street




Jiufen is a Taiwan's famous tourist attraction. It's famous for its beautiful view of mountain and pacific views, its teahouses, its hikes and its history (Jiufen was one of only a small part of Taiwan developed during its era under the Qing Dynasty) and movie fame (movie producer Hou Hsiao-Hsien used Jiufen as the setting for his famous movie "A city of sadness”). The southern part of Lalu Island is shaped like a new moon, and the northern part is shaped like a sun; hence the name Sun Moon Lake.The most famous sights around Sun Moon Lake are the Itashao, Lalu Island, the Xuanzang Temple, the Ci-en Pagoda, and the Wenwu Temple and so on.
