Another day in paradise, Fiji


Fiji consists of 332 islands and 522 smaller islets. the two most important islands are Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, which account for about three-quarter of the total land area of the country.

Viti Levu


Fiji's largest island, home to capital Suva, offers some wonderful beaches. Palm-fringed Natadola Beach, reputed to be one of the best beaches in the world.

Vanua Levu


On Vanua Levu you can pick your pleasure; a rainforest hike, a coconut plantation tour, a relaxing soak in a Savusavu hot spring. Locally run adventure tours will have you river tubing through jungle valleys, mountain biking along sandy trails, and snorkeling the coral sea mount of Split Rock. Jean-Michel Cousteau (son of Jacques) runs an ecologically responsible dive centre that offers courses and packages for divers of all levels of experience.

Here are 6 places in Hong Kong that you must see. Included are the obvious, like the world's greatest skyline and some of the most raucous markets around but also the overlooked, like the ancient walled villages. 1.     The Skyline Hong Kong’s signature attraction; the crowd of skyscrapers arched around the waters of Victoria Harbour on Hong Kong Island are a jaw dropping scene. Things to do at Tokyo!

Japan - Tokyo 東京 Picture taken by Rachael Ong The capital city of Japan - Tokyo is an enormous bustling city made up of 23 wards. There are numerous tourist attractions in the city alone. This blog will focus on some of these attractions. Senso-ji  浅草寺 Picture taken by Rachael Ong Senso-ji is Japan’s Buddhist temple and it is the oldest temples constructed in Japan (completed in the year 628). It is built to show the Buddhist goddess of Mercy, Guanyin. During Spring, Tokyo’s most popular festival Sanja Matsuri (3 Shrine Festival)  is celebrated here. Lots of parades, music and dancing. Behind the temple you can find a street called Nakamise dori ((仲見世通り) filled with small shops selling food and sourvenirs.
